Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says that the club will offer Jack Wilshere a new contract. The England midfielder has temporarily left the Emirates Stadium, having joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
On the observations I get from our people who watch him, he’s getting stronger every week.

Injury has limited his first team chances for Arsenal in recent years but he has done well on the south coast, making nine Premier League appearances for Eddie Howe’s side.
His form led to an international recall, Gareth Southgate naming him in the squad for the recent games against Scotland and Spain, though he failed to get on the pitch in either game.
Now, it appears his Arsenal career is far from over and Wenger confirmed he would be looking at new contract talks in the New Year.
Wenger said of his time at Bournemouth: “That’s exactly what he needed – to have regular football, maybe not every three days but every week at the start.
“That has helped him a lot to develop and come back to the level he deserves to be at.
“He gets regular football and now on the observations I get from our people who watch him, he’s getting stronger every week.”
Wilshere will not be in action on Saturday as Bournemouth travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal.
The Gunners are 2/5 to win the game with Bournemouth 8/1 and the draw 4/1.
Arsenal start the weekend in fourth place in the Premier League table but they are only three points away from Chelsea at the top.
Bournemouth, in their second season in the top flight, are 10th after an encouraging start to the new campaign.
Arsenal are 4/9 to finish in the top four at the end of the season.
