France international Geoffrey Kondogbia has played down speculation suggesting he is keen to leave Inter Milan. The 23-year-old says he is committed to the Nerazzurri and has moved quickly to refute comments made by his agent, Jonathan Maarek.
Kondogbia, who joined Inter from Monaco in June 2015, made his first Serie A start since September in the Milan derby, which ended 2-2, on Sunday.
Maarek had said: “His arrival at Inter was another step towards getting to one of the biggest clubs in the world. That was the plan and still is.”
However, Kondogbia insists: “The words of [my] agent? I am the player, so you have to listen to me, not other people. I only talk about my future. If you have something to ask, then ask me and listen to my words.”
Ivan Perisic scored a stoppage-time equaliser for Inter to ensure a dramatic Milan derby finished all-square.
Ex-Liverpool winger Suso had twice given the Rossoneri the lead only for Antonio Candreva and then Perisic to respond with goals of their own.
Inter Milan are available at 9/1 to finish in the top three of the Serie A table this season, while AC Milan can be backed at 7/4. Inter are 31/20 to beat Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Europa League on Thursday.
