Manager Claudio Ranieri is confident that Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy will soon be back among the goals, having gone more than two months without finding the net. The 29-year-old England international last struck for the Foxes in the 4-1 Premier League defeat at Liverpool on Saturday September 10th and has since drawn a blank in 12 appearances for City.
It’s important for him to stay calm and sooner or later he will start to score again.

However, Ranieri says he has seen no signs of panic or frustration from his player, while also voicing his happiness with the overall effort which Vardy puts into every game.
The Italian told the Leicester Mercury: “It’s important for him to stay calm and sooner or later he will start to score again. It’s important because I don’t see him being nervous, nothing.
“When some strikers don’t score for a while, you see them becoming nervous. But when I see Jamie, I don’t feel he is nervous.
“He’s not anxious. I don’t see that. I see him being normal, always laughing, battling on the training pitch, just the same as last season.
“When I speak to him, I say ‘don’t worry, the important thing is the job you are doing for the team and sooner or later the goals will arrive’.”
Leicester return to league action on Saturday when they head to Vicarage Road to take on Watford, having won the corresponding fixture last season 1-0 thanks to a superb strike from Riyad Mahrez.
Mahrez can be backed at 13/5 to score at any time on Saturday, with Vardy priced at 13/8, while Hornets forward Odion Ighalo – himself without a goal for exactly the same period of time as Vardy – is available at 15/8.
