Jose Mourinho insists Manchester United will push for victory against Liverpool at Anfield and will hope to prevent the home team from scoring.
The deadly rivals go into the game on Monday evening separated by three points and three places in the Premier League table, with Mourinho aiming to draw level with the Merseysiders and close the gap to leaders Manchester City.

And the Portuguese has hinted that his side will not sit back at Anfield, while also being focused on trying to frustrate the hosts.
He told the club’s official website: “We will try to win, that is for sure. When they have the ball we have to defend and when we have the ball we have to attack.
“We want to stop them scoring and the best way to do this is with 11 men and to score we want to be dominant and have the ball.”
United, who have won on three of their last four league visits to Anfield, are 5/2 to take all three points on Monday, with the Red Devils 12/1 to triumph by a 2-1 scoreline.
Meanwhile, Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson says his side will be ready for the challenge of taking on the Red Devils, adding: “We will be prepared for whatever is thrown at us.
“We’ll play as we have been. If we keep doing that it doesn’t matter what other teams do, they’ll not live with us.”
The Reds have injury doubts over midfield duo Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum, with the former having missed the recent England games against Malta and Slovenia due to a groin problem.
Wijnaldum picked up a hip injury while on international duty with the Netherlands and will be given a late check to see if he can feature at Anfield.
The Merseysiders, who have won just one of their last six meetings with the men from Manchester, are priced at 8/1 to win 1-0 on Monday evening and are 2/1 to keep a clean sheet.
