Chelsea were in shambles last season and many football lovers could not believe the happenings at the club and to the die-hard fans of the Blues it was full of disappointment for them in a view of a club which was heralded few months ago for winning the title under same manager in Jose Mourinho.
The 2014/15 season was bright for Chelsea and one of the players whose name was lifted up among the winning team was Eden Hazard who was awarded the PFA Player of the year. In its subsequent season, there was a total unbelievable performance game-after-game by these same players putting the club as low as 17 positions just a point above the relegation
In addition, all expectation placed on Top man Eden Hazard materialised as the Belgian produced a below par and complancent performance all the season.
Eden admitted to this by saying “We’d enjoyed all that success together last season, but this time round we hadn’t. I felt a little bit guilty because I’d been player of the year. I’d been one of the most decisive players, and this year I’d performed less well”.
“I hadn’t been at the same level. So I sent that text to José and he came back to me, wishing me all the best for the future.” He added.
