Pep Guardiola has been hit by injuries ahead of this weekend’s trip to Burnley in the Premier League, especially a new setback for Vincent Kompany. Manchester City travel to Turf Moor on Saturday with skipper Kompany definitely missing while there are also doubts over Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta.
Yaya can play in many positions but I think we have other options to play there at centre-back.

They will both be assessed further before the game but Guardiola was more concerned by the news that Kompany, who has only just returned from injury, has now been ruled out for between four and six weeks after suffering a knee injury in last weekend’s win at Crystal Palace.
In a press conference ahead of the Burnley game the City boss ruled out moving Yaya Toure into defence to replace Kompany.
He said: “Yaya can play in many positions but I think we have other options to play there at centre-back.
“Yaya will play in more attacking positions – to decide the last pass, to score goals, for our build up in the last third of the pitch. Maybe it can happen but I have other options. Fernandinho can play there, Sagna can play there.”
City go into the game at Turf Moor with the opportunity of returning to the top of the table with a win, though whether they would stay there for the rest of the weekend depends upon Liverpool, level on points with City and Chelsea, top of the table with a one-point lead.
Liverpool play Sunderland with Chelsea hosting Tottenham in the late game on Saturday.
City are 1/3 to beat Burnley who are 8/1 with the draw priced at 5/1.
