Barcelona striker Pablo Alcacer is eager to break his duck for the Camp Nou club but stressed he is not obsessing about his first goal for the Catalan giants.
Alcacer joined from Valencia in the summer and has so far made two starts and two further substitute appearances.
The 23-year-old has also been used in an unfamiliar wide role by boss Luis Enrique, but Alcacer is confident the goals will come.
“I know that I have to score now,” he told Diario Sport. “I’m a striker and I live for goals. If that wasn’t the case I would be a defender or a goalkeeper.
“Forwards are ruled by scoring goals. You have to take the few chances that you get. I’m not obsessed [with scoring my first goal], if you obsess it’s worse. But if you’re not mentally strong you can end up obsessing.”
Barcelona travel to Celta Vigo on Sunday and they are 13/5 to win with a -2 handicap, while Alcacer is 20/21 to score at anytime.
