Graham Swansea finds similarities between Liverpool manager Jurgen Klop and legend Bill Shankly, who led the Merseyside to three championship titles in the 1960s and 1970s. According to the former defender of the Reds, the German specialist fits the club’s culture perfectly and has been doing incredible things since mooring at Anfield.
Klop took over Liverpool in 2015 and made the team a major contender for home and European honors. During his campaign last year, he inspired his Champions League win, and this season Liverpool are just a step up from their first Champions Trophy in England since 1990, having advanced by as much as 25 points to the top of the standings.
