Austria were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Wales on the matchday 2 Group D fixture on Thursday evening. As expected the Austrians were disappointing and conceded the lead twice in the match. Marco Arnautovic strike twice in either halves to cancel out goal from Joe Allen and an own goal from Kevin Wimmer.

And England sits 2nd on the Group F with 3 points and 3 goals difference shot off group leader.

Right back in Three Lions squad for World Cup qualifiers
Claudio Marchisio is closing in on a Juventus return after stepping up his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury.
The Italy international suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in Juve’s victory over Palermo towards the end of last season.
Marchisio has yet to make an appearance for Massimiliano Allegri’s side in the current campaign, with the Juve boss urging caution in the 30-year-old’s recovery.
