Adrian Andreev successfully passed the first round of the Challenger Series clay tennis tournament in Genoa, Italy, with a prize fund of 148,625 euros. In a tense match that lasted two hours and 44 minutes, Andreev prevailed over Argentine qualifier Gennaro Alberto Olivieri with a score of 7:5, 3:6, 6:2. In the next round, Andreev will face the representative of the hosts, Giovanni Fonio, who occupies the 316th place in the world ranking.
