Arsenal forward Theo Walcott believes his side are getting better and stronger, having won their last three Premier League games.
The Gunners roared to a 4-1 victory at Hull City on Saturday to make it three in a row in the league, with the men from North London having secured a 1-1 Champions League draw at Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.
And Walcott is confident that his team can enjoy a successful season if they continue to improve in the way they have done in recent games.
He told the club’s official website: “We’ve got a lot of great characters in that dressing room and the players that have come in have settled in very well.
“We’ve been in this situation before but we need to make sure that the next step now is Tuesday’s match. We don’t really want to be concentrating on what’s going to happen.
The Gunners head to Nottingham Forest for a League Cup tie on Tuesday evening, with Arsenal 1/2 to win the game in normal time, 15/2 to triumph 2-0 in 90 minutes and 10/1 to go on and lift the trophy.
Meanwhile, boss Arsene Wenger praised the display of Alex Iwobi in the in over the Tigers, being impressed in the improvements made by the young midfielder in recent times.
He told the club’s official website: “Overall, he’s only 20 years old, so you could see that he has gained in confidence now.
