Ludogorets vs PSG
UEFA Champions League – Group A
Date: Wednesday, 28th September, 2016,
Kick-Off: 19:45 UK,
Venue: Stadion Vasil Levski (Sofia).
The four teams in group A all have one point to their name after they all drew their first game last two seeks. Now the battle for top spot in begins this week as PSG travels to Stadium Vasil Levski to face Ludogorets on Wednesday night.
The Bulgarian side were unfortunate against Basel 2 weeks ago, they threw away their 1-0 lead as the game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes. Meanwhile, they have been on superb form lately, as they are currently on a winning streak.
Ludogorets will enter this game from a 5-1 away victory over Vereya last Friday, as Jonathan Cafu netted twice in the game. Misidjan, Wanderson and Marcelinho also appeared on the score sheet for Ludogorets as Elias pulled one back for the opposing team. They will hope to grab a home win against a struggling PSG to go top of the group.
PSG have been on a fluctuating form lately, they are yet to find their feet this season. The Paris team are currently 4th in the Ligue 1 with 13 points from 7 games, a points behind Toulouse in the 3rd place.
Paris Saint Germain will enter this game from a 2-0 away loss to Toulouse last Friday. Their woes started when S. Aurier was sent off in the 46th minute and a penalty awarded to Toulouse, Y. Bodiger converted from the spot while Durmaz made it 2-0 in the 79th minute.
There are no history of games between the two teams, this will be their first meeting against each other.
PSG will be low in morale as they enter this game, they are playing away from home and been struggling of late. They have won just twice in their last 6 losing twice and drawn twice also. While their host Ludogorets are on a 3 games winning streak and are firing all cylinders. They have scored a total of 12 goals in their last 3 games and conceded just 2.
Despite the stats above, I strongly believe PSG will get at least a draw in the game, also they are likely to score more than once in the game.
Over 2.5 Goals at 1.72 (8/11)
Both teams to score 2.00 (1/1)
Edison Cavani to Score Any-Time at 1.72 (8/11).
