Wigan Athletic – Bristol City 21 September
The England – Championship fixture between Wigan Athletic – Bristol City will be played on September 21st (Friday) at 19:45. Championship is a moderate league in terms of demand for number of goals scored in matches. In the only match of today’s round I see the opportunity to look for the decent odds of 1.8 for over 2.5 goals. Again, the statistics show that both teams have scored exactly three goals per game.
The coefficient for Wigan Athletic to win is 2.25. Draw result is estimated at 3.50. The coefficient for Bristol City to win is 3.40. TV Program for football is available here.
Reading – Norwich City 19th September
The EFL Championship fixture between Reading – Norwich City will be played on September 19th (Wednesday) at 20:00. These two teams have 9 overs in the last 10 matches with each other. I can not miss to bet the same thing with odds above 2, if they will now finish their 0: 0 in their last games. And they are not. Both teams have played so far for the Championship in 7 games, 4 of which are overs, 3 are underground.
The coefficient for Reading to win is 2.75. Draw result is estimated at 3.30. The coefficient for Norwich City to win is 2.80. TV Program for football is available here.
Sheffield United – Birmingham 19th September
The EFL Championship fixture between Sheffield United – Birmingham will be played on September 19th (Wednesday) at 19:45. Sheffield United faces an outsider who is struggling to survive, but still shortly before the relegation zone.
The coefficient for Sheffield United to win is 1.85. Draw result is estimated at 3.50. The coefficient for Birmingham to win is 5.00. TV Program for football is available here.
QPR – Millwall 19th September
The EFL Championship fixture between QPR – Millwall will be played on September 19th (Wednesday) at 19:45. The two teams are in unbeatable places in the standings and the points are equally needed. DAC made three in the last four rounds, and Millwall boasts a hiccup in his last game against Leeds. This is also a London derby, so the household factor almost loses its weight.
The coefficient for QPR to win is 2.55. Draw result is estimated at 3.20. The coefficient for Millwall to win is 3.10. TV Program for football is available here.
The English football league system is divided in two levels: the Premier League is the highest level (first level) and the English Football League (EFL) is the second level.
Premier League (Premiership)
The English Premier League is at the top of England’s football hierarchy. The league was founded in 1992 when a number of rich clubs want to increase their revenue. There are 20 teams in the Premier League. The connection with the second level exists, as three teams drop each year from the Premiership to be replaced by three teams that have won a promotion from the top level of the Football League – Championship.
English Football League (EFL)
England ‘s football league is the oldest league in the world, but after the separation of the rich teams it plays a minor role in the Premier League. It consists of 72 teams, divided into 3 divisions of 24 clubs: Championship , First League and Second League. Between them there are promotions and relegations after each season.
Championship is in the second level in the English football league system, but it is the highest tournament in the second level EFL. The first two teams in the final standings win a promotion directly into the Premier League. The remaining four teams up to sixth place play a designated tournament – a playoff to determine the third team to climb and enter the into the Premier League. The last three teams are relegated in the First League.
The Football Association of England (FA) organizes both the entire football system in the country and tournaments for different national cups. All football teams in England, regardless of their status, are members of the FA. Also teams from Wales are members of the FA and participate equally with the rest of the English teams.
