September is going to be a busy time at Barça, with seven games in just 23 days. Five of those are league fixtures, including one midweek game against Atlético Madrid at the Camp Nou, while the other two are in the Champions League.
Five in La Liga
The hectic schedule begins with the first game back after the international break, at home to newly promoted Alavés (Saturday 10 at 8.30pm CET). A week later, it’s off to Madrid to face Liga first-timers Leganés. The Wednesday after, Atlético Madridwill be coming to the Camp Nou for what is never an easy encounter, and the weekend immediately following that brings a trip to Asturias to play Sporting Gijón. The first weekend of October features another intense trip north, this time to the home of Celta, after which the competition goes on hiatus once again for international matches.
