Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goal-scoring start to his Manchester United career has underlined his status as one of the world’s best players, according to former Juventus and AC Milan team-mate Gianluca Zambrotta.

The in-form Swede, who joined United on a free transfer over the summer, has made a seamless transition to life at Old Trafford and is the Premier League’s joint top scorer with four goals in as many matches.

“I played with Zlatan for two years at Juventus and also for two years at AC Milan, so I know Zlatan very well,” Zambrotta told Sky Sports.
