Chelsea midfielder Willian insists he wants to see out his Stamford Bridge contract despite speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 28-year-old Brazil international was linked with a move to the French capital in the summer but says he never had any intention of leaving Chelsea and would be keen to spend the rest of his playing days with the Blues.
Willian, whose current Chelsea deal does not expire until 2020, was one of the Blues’ most consistent performers last term as the 2014/15 Premier League title winners struggled, eventually rallying to finish in mid-table following Jose Mourinho’s departure.
Willian, who has scored 13 goals in 102 Premier League appearances for Chelsea following his £32million transfer from Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer of 2013, told France Football: “I read about PSG’s interest, but I never received a concrete offer.
“My family is feeling good in London and I really like the Premier League, which is the best league in the world for me.
“I am still growing and we are playing some beautiful football. I aim to see out my contract here for all these reasons. I would be privileged to finish my career at a big club like Chelsea.”
Chelsea, 18/1 to win the Premier League title this season, face Leicester City on Saturday. Antonio Conte’s side are 8/1 to beat the Foxes 2-0 and 6/4 to keep a clean sheet in the game, while a 1-1 draw against last season’s champions is available at 15/2.
