Motherwell are set to re-sign former Swansea midfielder Lee Lucas.
Lucas joined Motherwell on a short-term deal in the summer as part of a trial period, but his only first-team appearance was cut short by a hamstring injury during a Betfred Cup win over Annan.
The 24-year-old, whose Swansea career was plagued by serious injuries, was contracted until the end of the transfer window, but manager Mark McGhee has revealed he is set to sign on again.
McGhee told the Motherwell Times: “Lee will sign until Christmas. We are still working on a shoestring financially, but when things get better he could sign for longer.”
