PSG vs Monaco
France – Ligue 1
Date: Sunday, 15th April 2018
Kick off at 20:00 UK/ 21:00 CET
Venue: Parc des Princes (Paris).
The two best teams in France will go head to head yet again on Sunday night in Paris. PSG were at their very worst last weekend when a last minute goal earned a point at St Etienne but the club played as if they had found out the news that manager Unai Emery will be leaving at the end of the season and they were a shell of themselves. A game at home to Monaco should change that attitude though.
PSG will become champions if they win on Sunday and to do this against the current champions and in front of your home fans, the club will have massive motivation. PSG got the better of Monaco again in the Coupe de la Ligue already this year and they have by far the best home record in the league where they remain unbeaten.
For Monaco the motivation is a question. Yes they will want to beat PSG for bragging rights but it will be just a stay of execution until PSG do win the league. Monaco are set to finish 2nd and have the quality to do so, this looks like it will be a difficult game for them. On the upside form is good and the team are scoring plenty of goals.
PSG vs Monaco: Head to Head
- PSG have scored 16 goals in their last five meetings with Monaco
- It’s been 7 games since Monaco beat PSG
- Last season in Paris the clubs drew 1-1
PSG vs Monaco: Prediction
The game of the weekend in France and PSG will want to light it up with the Championship and they will be the favourites to do so. Monaco have little to play for.
