Potters in Group H of Premier League cup

STOKE CITY U23s will come up against Birmingham City, Reading and Sheffield United in this year’s newly formed Premier League Cup.

Glyn Hodges’ side will kick-off Group H with a home tie against Sheffield United in the first round of group matches at the end of September/start of October.

The Potters are one of 32 teams that make up the competition, which is split into eight groups of four, with each side playing each other twice before the round of 16 commences in March.

All fixtures will be played at each club’s main stadium or a Premier League approved alternative venue.

A provisional list for fixture dates has been released, although confirmed times will be announced on stokecityfc.com in due course.
