Glen Johnson and Bojan recalled to starting line-up…
MARK HUGHES made two changes to his starting line-up for Sunday’s live televised showdown with Crystal palace at Selhurst Park.
The Welshman recalled Bojan to his eleven, whilst former England international Glen Johnson was handed his first start since February.
The two players missing out were Erik Pieters and Giannelli Imbula – both of whom had to settle for a spot amongst the substitutes.
Johnson started in his customary right-back role, meaning Geoff Cameron, who occupied that position last time out, moved into a more central role alongside Ryan Shawcross.
That meant deadline day signing Bruno Martins-Indi switched to left-back to deputise for fellow Dutch international Pieters.
Stoke City: Given; Johnson, Shawcross (c), Cameron, Martins Indi; Whelan, Allen; Walters, Bojan, Arnautovic; Bony. Subs: Grant, Pieters, Bardsley, Adam, Imbula, Diouf, Crouch.
