Eintracht Frankfurt – Fortuna Dusseldorf Friday 19 October

Dusseldorf have never been worse off at this stage of a top flight campaign as a newly promoted side either. And even though the Eagles haven’t been the most effective side in terms of creating chances – in fact, no side has taken fewer shots on goal than Frankfurt (60) – they have been one of the most effecient sides at converting their chances – Frankfurt are the joint 6th highest scoring team in the Bundesliga. Against a leaky Dusseldorf back-line, you’d have to fancy joint top scorer Sebastian Haller (pictured) for at least one goal, but the hosts’ own defensive record raises some questions. Having also conceded the joint most goals in the top half of the table and without a clean sheet since late August, there’s probably some value in backing both teams to score in the correct score market. Our prediction: 3-1 Eintracht Frankfurt.
